To make full use of sensor capability the Finecute makes detailed segments of volumetric data.
Segmenting each of the X, Y and Z orientations 512 times the slice pitch is 147μm at standard definition and 101μm at high-definition. 3D images can be manipulated in real time, enabling easy understanding of bone structure and depth.
By operating at a window level, various images can easily be arranged as shown below. For patients who have hitherto been unable to learn about their own bone structure and state, the images can be used to provide a quick understanding and offer a new communication route between dentist and patient. |

Image angle can be adjusted in real time using the cross bar to check images.
The cross bar is a cross displayed in the 2D image. The cross references all layers in the data. By changing the position and angle of the cross the target layer can easily be selected. As shown in images below, the device not only enables layered vertical images but also real time, vertical layered imaging of tooth root. |
