The use of turbines contaminated with saliva or blood is cited as one of the causes for Infection Transmission between the patients. Yoshida turbine is built to protect against such infection by two protection mechanisms; A “suck-back prevention mechanism” which prevents negative pressure from sucking back the contaminants, and a “water delivery system protection mechanism” which prevents the suction of contaminants into the water delivery system. These mechanisms ensure the safe and clean environment inside turbine and hose.
